There is not much to dislike about Will. This kid is a smashmouth, high-motor player, and if you like to watch the battles that can happen in the trenches, he will put a smile on your face. Right off the bat, it is hard to ignore his tenacious style of play. He has a fantastic motor and really seems to approach every play with a nasty, "refuse to lose" attitude. He has good size and has bulked up from his 7th grade year. Will started all 11 games (10 regular season and 1 playoff) at left tackle as an 8th grader for his high school's varsity team. He comes off the ball and makes good initial contact; in many instances, he does make collisions rather than contact. He moves his feet and has the ability to drive a defender off the line of scrimmage in the run game. He gets good hand placement and can be tough to beat once he gets locked on. He displays the ability to get low and drive a defender. He can outmuscle an opponent when he gets a head of steam going, he is able to derive power from the hips and flatten a defender. He looks comfortable and does a good job of getting down the line of scrimmage, locating his target and making contact. Like many high school prospects, He does a good job of getting up to the second level and making contact with moving targets. He moves well for a big guy. He is not always graceful, but whenever you start to question his mobility, he will get downfield, make two or three blocks and maintain his balance. He is a strong pass blocker that will sit in there and take a rusher's best shot. He displays the ability to shadow a rusher. He can be a little aggressive and get himself off-balance but does a good job of recovering. Overall, He has the ability to be an excellent offensive lineman in college. He would make a good right tackle or left tackle at the college level.
