John is an explosive wide receiver with great speed and ability to accelerate. He shows excellent initial burst and reaches top speed in a hurry. He shows great vision as a runner and sees creases opening up quickly. Shows very good initial burst and top-end speed. He displays the necessary second-gear to run away from defenders in the open field. He is elusive in space and will consistently make the first defender miss. He shows soft, quick hands, can snag on the run and gets upfield immediately after the catch. He has tremendous foot quickness and this is evident in his route running. Is quick out of the break and has the burst to separate versus man coverage. His leaping ability, body control and balance are all solid and he has the speed to be a homerun threat not only in the vertical passing game, but after the catch as well. He has the look and feel of a vertical threat that can get over the top and create big plays downfield. Overall, John can really run and will stretch the field. He also has experience returning kicks. Coaches this kid can play....
